  I first ate here when thy first opened and were byob and just haven't returned. Not because the food was bad but because I moved away for a few years.  I just recently went back with a group of friends and was blown away.   The food was amazing and the prices can't be beat.  The service could have been better but I kind of prefer a move relaxed service environment anyway.  If I'm out to eat I like to take my time, no rushing.   But we all got out plates of food and there were no complaints at all.  We shared the cod fish balls and quite possibly the best I've had in the city.  I got the Polvo a lagareiro and there was so much food that I couldn't even finish!  They now sell beer and wine and have a nice portuguese-centric wine list.  I'll be returning for sure!
  
  Also, it's really not in the greatest area of the city and parking isn't that great but it's well worth it to eat here!

  Owner parks in the handicap spot. A complete disregard of the law and his patrons. We will not return.

  This is one of the best Portuguese restaurants I've been too lately. My favorite dish here is the bacalhau a bras. In my own defense, I can't seem to try many other dishes because I love it so much. They do not overcook it like most places. So tender, fluffy, amazing! The cacoila is awesome too; lattes were on point. Desserts -- amazing! You can tell this owner really cares about what she's doing, greeting each table and putting love into her food. She happily takes suggestions on specials and her smile makes you feel at home. Whenever I'm in the area, I always crave this place!
